Objectives
Develop the ability to efficiently assess patients in emergency situations.
Acquire essential skills to manage injuries and common emergency cases.
Understand proper procedures for seeking help and communicating with emergency services.
Strengthen teamwork and communication skills during critical incident responses.
Learn and apply appropriate techniques to assist individuals experiencing choking.
Provide comprehensive training in Basic Life Support (BLS).
Build competency in emergency response techniques and first aid practices.
Promote collaboration and leadership to enhance decision-making and coordination during emergencies.
Strengthen community resilience by building a network of trained responders, increasing public awareness, and promoting adherence to established protocols.

Methodology
Emergency Week consisted of a series of coordinated activities conducted across different locations:
January 20, 2025
Location: University Campus Courtyard
A mock evacuation drill was conducted on campus under the supervision of the Evacuation Coordinators, led by Mr. Ali, in collaboration with the Civil Defense team.
The drill aimed to assess institutional preparedness and evacuation procedures, ensuring participants were ready to respond effectively to fire emergencies.
January 21, 2025
Location: Student Hub & Skill Lab
Session 1:
An interactive theoretical session on First Aid and Disaster Management attended by 40 participants. Topics included patient assessment, disaster response strategies, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
Session 2:
Practical Basic Life Support (BLS) training for 8 participants. The session covered CPR techniques, airway management, and response to critical cases. Role-playing scenarios were used to strengthen teamwork and leadership skills.

Location: Al Batinah International School (ABIS)
Students visited the school and delivered an educational session on managing common emergency cases, including choking, seizures, burns, wounds, and bleeding. The session equipped younger students with fundamental first aid knowledge.
Outcomes
Participants gained both theoretical and practical knowledge in First Aid, Disaster Management, and BLS techniques.
The mock drill enhanced campus preparedness and strengthened collaboration with Civil Defense authorities.
Students at Al Batinah International School received training on handling common emergencies, expanding the program’s impact to a younger age group.
Teamwork and leadership skills were improved among participants, ensuring better coordination during emergencies.
A stronger and more aware community network was established, enhancing resilience and effective emergency response capacity.
